Apple Cider Vinegar

I've been hearing that Apple Cider Vinegar is good for you, and that taking a couple teaspoons a day is advantageous. So I had Courtney buy me a bottle a few weeks ago. I hadn't taken it yet, though, because I really don't like the smell.

Well, this morning I decided to go for it! I poured a teaspoon full, and gulped it down...DUDE! I thought I had just swallowed fire! It burned for a little while, but stopped. I must say that I felt pretty good after the burning stopped.

I then read the bottle and there's a recipe for taking it as a drink: "Mix with 8oz of water and some honey". I think that'll be a lot more bearable tomorrow morning.

So if you're ever in the mood to take some vinegar, make sure you put it in some water first.

It's a GIRL

We had our sonogram yesterday, and to our surprise, we're having a girl! Courtney and I really thought it was going to be another boy, but we were wrong. We are so excited about having a girl, though!!

I have to admit that I'm a little nervous about having a girl. Since my sister, brother, and I were really close in age, I never had little siblings around, so I was really new at all that with Little John. I got over my nervousness pretty quickly, though, because knowing how to treat/deal with a boy comes naturally, since I'm one too. But a GIRL...whoa! I really don't have any idea what's coming.

Courtney told me to just treat the new baby like I treat her, and things will be great. So I'll just go with that plan for now, and I'm sure I'll get over the nervousness soon enough.

Don't get me wrong, I'm really excited about a girl! I'm sure she will have me wrapped around her finger in no time. I really can't wait.
