I'm Back!

I know, it's been quite a while since my last blog, but I've been a busy guy...LAME!!

Anyway, I won't go into everything that's happened since I last blogged, but I will divulge some of the new happenings in my life.

Music is making a comeback in my life. I'm involved in two music related programs every week:

StarTime is a family worship time at our church where Courtney and I lead the singing. We sing, jump, and wave our arms to help the kids get into the worship time. It's a fun time, and we love being involved in leading families in worship together.

I'm also playing my new acoustic guitar for the Jr. High Praise band at church. Our first performance (I wish I had a better word) was this past Wednesday night. It all went quite well. A lot better than I expected, honestly. We've got a pretty good sound going, and it's been a lot of fun getting back into music. I took guitar lessons for 8 years as a kid, and grew up playing in church and in bands, but music took a back seat as I started my career, marriage, and family.

So I'm really enjoying these new ministry opportunities, and am excited to see where they go.

Dang, it's almost 2am. I better hit the sack. I hope all that made some sort of sense. My mind at this hour could say some strange things.
